SPL2000 AIS-VHF Antenna Splitter The SPL2000 allows the boat's VHF antenna to be used for both an AIS and VHF simultaneously. It uses ZeroLoss technology and is suitable for use with AIS Class B transponder systems as well as AIS receivers. It's also designed as a failsafe device with automatic priority given to the connected VHF. It is supplied with a BNC-BNC patch cable for the AIS and a PL259-PL259 cable for the VHF. It also features a AM/FM wired output for an on board stereo receiver. Identical in size to the AIT2000, it makes the perfect complimentary splitter device for Digital Yacht's range of AIS products.

SPL1500 Antenna Splitter VHF/AIS An AIS receiver or transponder requires a VHF antenna, but Digital Yacht’s SPL1500 AIS-VHF antenna splitter allows an existing antenna to be used for both the AIS and VHF (DSC). Unlike most simple splitters, it can also be used with a class B transponder system and it incorporates special circuitry to ensure safe operation of the two transmitting devices. The unit has three simple connections - one input for the main VHF antenna and then outputs for the AIS receiver/transponder and another for the DSC VHF. It utilizes Digital Yacht’s ZeroLoss™ technology, to ensure the very best possible reception and transmission from all devices. Most importantly it is also fail safe, so should the unit ever stop working or lose power, it will not affect the main VHF operation. 5G Xtream System with 3 Antennas & 7M Cable For boat owners looking for ultra-fast internet on board, the new 5G Xtream from Digital Yacht offers 4G and 5G connectivity as well as integration with Starlink satellite systems for the best and most affordable blended internet afloat. The 5G Xtream can support 5G (shoreside) connection speeds up to 3.1GB/s but also integrates a 4G Cat 20 modem, which offers connectivity up to about 25NM from shore at speeds of up to 2GB/s. The system uses three external antennas with dual high-gain vertical antennas and a separate compact dome for the higher 5G frequencies. This MIMO technology and, critically, separate antennas give optimum performance. There’s support for dual SIMs with auto (failover) or manual switching between operators. The 5G Xtream features dual-band (2.4 and 5GHz) wireless connections, so users on board simply search for the secure wifi point and connect. There are also 4 LAN ports (10/100/1000 MB) for wired devices like smart TVs and a WAN port that is optimized for Starlink satellite connectivity, allowing the 5GX to act as a sophisticated and fast router for all on-board internet communications. Just insert the SIM cards. The 5G Xtream has two standard SIM slots, and it is possible to fit two SIMs from two different network operators. By default, the 5G Xtream will query the SIM that is installed and automatically select the APN settings from its internal database. However, it is very important that users “lockdown” their wireless network with their network name (SSID) and wireless password. This task only takes a couple of minutes and is done via the 5G Xtream web interface. User Interface Accessing 5G Xtream functionality is done via an easy web interface. Any locally connected device can simply enter the IP address into the password-protected interface to set up functions, view traffic and logs, and configure wifi. Once set up, there should be no requirement to log in other than for diagnostics and configuration. AISnet AIS Base Station AISnet is a new AIS receiver for use as an AIS base station at home or in the office. Utilising the same high performance dual channel AIS receiver as the rest of the Digital Yacht range, AISnet also features an ethernet socket so that you can connect it to your broadband router and send AIS data to an on-line AIS tracking service. There are now a large number of internet based web sites which offer a view of AIS equipped vessels on a background chart allowing users to check the position and identity of ships and yachts. If your home/office is close to the coast and you would like to contribute your data to one of these sites, simply register with the company and they will give you an IP address and Port number. Using the setup program that Digital Yacht supply, it takes seconds to program the IP address and Port in to AISnet, which will immediately start sending your local AIS data seamlessly across the internet to be displayed on the site. It is also possible to view the data, that AISnet is collecting, locally on your PC using the free SmarterTrack Lite software that Digital Yacht include with every AISnet. BM100 Battery Monitoring Solution The BM100 is a complete system comprising SmartShunt and the veKonvert NMEA 2000 interface. It is part of Digital Yacht’s iSeaSense range of NMEA 2000 boat instruments. With this solution, your multi-function display becomes a sophisticated battery and energy management system. Features Digital Yacht’s BM100 battery monitoring system allows highly accurate DC voltage, current, and capacity measurements, enabling reliable monitoring of your boat’s battery and electrical system. Core to the system is the SmartShunt. It measures battery voltage and current. Based on these measurements, it intelligently calculates the battery’s state of charge and the time to depletion for the remaining charge. It also keeps track of historical data, such as the deepest discharge and average discharge current, as well as the number of charge and discharge cycles. The smart shunt can also monitor the voltage of a 2nd battery, typically dedicated to engine starting. The product is a collaboration between Victron Energy and Digital Yacht. The system utilizes Victron’s proprietary VE.Direct data connectivity as a source for the NMEA 2000 data. The BM100 is part of a wider group of products now introduced by Digital Yacht that bring NMEA 2000 connectivity to Victron systems using the VE.Direct interface. Victron solar panel controllers (MPPTs) and battery monitors can now also interconnect to NMEA 2000 via the veKonvert interface. Monitoring the battery with the BM100 will give important feedback to the user so that remedial measures can be taken when necessary. Doing this will extend battery life. There’s also an optional battery temperature sensor available. The BM100 can also integrate with Digital Yacht’s other NMEA 2000 and wireless instruments, which offer hybrid NMEA 2000 and wireless display options.
